In 1998 Parenti placed on leave after allegations that 25 yrs ago he had been involved in sexual misconduct with a minor. He was living at St. Veronica’s parish in Howell Township and working at the Diocesan tribunal in Lawrence at that time. No criminal charges filed. Is believed to have left priesthood.
