Worked in diocese until 1992 when he left active priesthood to care for his parents. In 5/97, he was charged with molesting a 13 yr old boy in 1987. When arrested, he was working in non-priest role at church in Albany, NY diocese. Convicted 1999 of sexually assaulting 1 youth. Also molested 3 more. Sentenced to 10 years. Died of cancer in prison 2000. Three claims included in 1/03 diocesan settlement re abuse by 5 priests.
