Placed on administrative leave 2002. Woman said he had molested her as a teenager in late 1950s-early 1960s. He would sleep with her mother and fondle her at same time. She told diocese in 1993 but they said they were not responsible. Dericks paid her a$25K settlement in early 1990s. In 2003 diocese found charges credible. Vatican said he was too old for a church trial. Barred from publicly working as a priest as of 1/04. Died 11/17/10.
