Named in 1991 civil suit as having abused an altar boy from age 12-27 yrs. Placed on sick leave 1990. Diocese settled the case 10/93 for $50K when victim threatened to appeal dismissal on SOL grounds. Also named in 1994 RICO pleading as having abused another youth. Denied allegations. Claims dismissed on SOL but setted 3/03 when all RICO claims settled. New suit filed 1/12 re abuse at St. Anthony of Padua School in Camden in 1970s. Settlement reached 11/13. Died 9/19/13 at Vianney Retreat.
